Biography
Director of Vehicle & Powertrain Engineering, Ampere
Graduate of ESTACA with a specialization in transportation and holder of a Master’s degree in driveline from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Nicolas Racquet began his career at MCA Ingénierie before joining Renault Group in 2003. He quickly took on leadership roles in the powertrain domain, notably as Powertrain Standardization General Manager, then General Manager for Powertrain Parts Development and Series Life.
In 2023, he became VP EV Components at Ampere, where he helped structure and industrialize the key components of future electric powertrains.
In 2025, he was appointed Director of Vehicle & Powertrain Engineering at Ampere, within the Renault Group Engineering Division. He is responsible for the entire technical development of electric vehicles, from vehicle architecture to powertrain integration, including components, systems, and software interfaces.
