In more than 50 years of history, 11 million vehicles and 22 different models have come out of the chains of the Manufacture of Douai (North of France). Since 2020, the site has been transformed to accommodate electricity with a new flexible standard line featuring two modular platforms AmpR-Small (A segment) and AmpR-Medium (C segment), as well as a new workshop for assembling batteries. Currently, the site manufactures 3 electric vehicles on the same line (M\u00e9gane E-Tech Electric, Sc\u00e9nic E-Tech Electric, elected Car Of The Year 2024 and R5 E-Tech Electric) for the Renault brand.\u00a0 The factory also manufactures A290 for Alpine and will soon host the Mitsubishi C-SUV. Douai is part of the ElectriCity Ampere Hub, a unique industrial cluster and operational centre of excellence alongside Maubeuge and Ruitz that draws its competitiveness from a complete ecosystem combining efficiency and high technology throughout the electric value chain.<\/p>\n
